| Leigh Mark Lodge was proud to have as its principle guest W Bro Giles Berkley PGJD Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the proclamation of its Worshipful Master David Scase, who is to continue in office for another year. Unfortunately both of the Wardens are unable to continue at the moment due to other commitments. After the lodge was opened and the minutes approved, the Grand Officers were admitted. Salutations were given to W Bro Giles Frederick Berkley PGJD Assistant PGM, VW Bro Ken Alker PGJO, then to the Grand Officers W Bros Alan Foster AGDC,W Bro Tony Farrar PAGDC and W Bro Graham Corday PGStwd, the Provincial officers WBro David Rigby PrGSW and the rest of the Provincial Officers present. |

| The lead DC on this occasion was WBro Tony Farrar ably assisted by WBros Terry Dickinson and our very own Gordon Glover. Other acting Provincial Officers present were Stuart Wilson PPrGSD Westhoughton Mark, Stephen McNee PrGSD from Tuscan Lodge, Eric Poole PrGSD from West Lancs Mark Lodge, Chris Douglas PrGStwd from Walton Lodge and last but not least our very own Len Hart PrGJD from Leigh Mark Lodge. Len Hart PrGJD asked the brethren to be upstanding. He then Proclaimed David Scase WM of Leigh Mark Lodge 1322. The following addresses were given. That to the wardens by WBro David Rigby PGSW, to the Overseers by VW Ken Alker PGJO and to the Brethren by WBro Giles Frederick Berkley PGJD Assistant Provincial Grand master. After the usual concluding business, the lodge was closed and the brethren retired, first to the bar and then to the dining room for a first-class meal. |

| Leigh Mark Lodge is grateful to the WM David Scase for continuing in office. David and his wife Sandra are going through difficult times at the moment. Sandra is currently undergoing cancer treatment at the Christie hospital. In his emotional reply to the toast to his heath David thanked the members of Leigh Mark Lodge for their support and kind words, proving once again, in good or bad times, among Mark Masons you will forever find friends. |
